How’s this for a Throwback Thursday? You may not be able to gas up your car for 57 cents a gallon the way you did in 1970, but you can at least take some satisfaction that the number of people crossing our borders illegally in FY 2025 dropped to levels not seen since the last time The Beatles released an album. Going back to 1970 levels of illegal immigration didn’t require any new laws. All it required was the resolve to enforce the ones we have.
